Tracking down hotels that have private Jacuzzis isn’t easy. It’s particularly difficult to find city hotels that offer in-room Jacuzzis. Because we’re tired of sharing the tub with strangers we’ve managed to find the best in-room Jacuzzi hotels in Asia’s top destinations. We’re all set to jet set to the following Jacuzzi-jet equipped destinations. How about you?
Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, Singapore
You can spend what you save in flight costs on a room upgrade. That’s what we love about staycations. Book the Sentosa Suite, the largest and top-floor guest room at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa. From both your bedroom and bathroom windows, where your in-room Jacuzzi is strategically placed against the glass, you’ll be able to cast your eyes on all of Sentosa Island and the South China Sea. What a view! There’s also a terrace for you to enjoy the paradisiacal sights by day and also at night…
The Deluxe Sea View Suite also has a private outdoor Jacuzzi that awaits guests on their extended patio where outdoor dining and sunbathing are also encouraged.
InterContinental Hong Kong, Hong Kong
An in-room Jacuzzi in Hong Kong comes with a price tag. In order to find yourself in a Jacuzzi surrounded by bubbles at the prominent, harbourfront, red granite hotel that is the InterContinental Hong Kong, you must first acquire the keys to one of its signature suites. Propped up on the rim of the tub, against the window, your feet become the vanishing point in the breathtaking scene that is the Hong Kong skyline.
Hong Kong’s cityscape is best enjoyed at night. Envision coming back to your suite after a day spent engaging in Hong Kong’s favourite pastimes; shopping and eating, to a candle lit Jacuzzi and the city’s spellbinding nightlights.
The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat, Ipoh
All of the villas in the all-villa resort have outdoor Jacuzzis. The difference between the two villa types is that the Garden Villas have private courtyards with natural caves hanging overhead and the Water Villas have balconies that look out onto a water canal that meanders through Ipoh’s famous limestone hills. Choose your destiny.
Step into the sunken Jacuzzis and revel in the rejuvenative water that’s pumped straight from the natural geothermal hot springs. If the theme of your holiday is ultimate relaxation, use the time not spent in the Jacuzzi on Ayurvedic massages or savouring an organic wine at the hotel bar set inside a limestone cave.
Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort, Seminyak
A surfer’s paradise, Seminyak Beach, where the resort’s doorstep sits on, is where to find that idyllic sunset you’re always looking for. This suite-only resort has Jacuzzi terrazzo tubs in each of its 60 accommodations.
If you want to gaze upon views of the Indian Ocean, while Jacuzzi jets do their job of helping you unwind, be sure to book the Anantara Ocean Suite. If you’d like to surround yourself with a more navigable body of water, then stay in the Anantara Pool Access Suite instead – who knew a morning swim could be so appealing?
The Houben, Krabi
If you love the idea of an open-air Jacuzzi tub waiting for you on your private terrace, then book the deluxe room or Privilege Suite at this Krabi hotel. Don’t think the soaking stops there! The hotel’s infinity pool plus outdoor Jacuzzi lets you soak in the vibrant colours of the changing skies atop the Andaman Sea as you enjoy your deep soak.
Run by a Belgian family, the boutique hotel has 15 rooms, each with sea-facing terraces. Located at the southern end of Koh Lanta on the “sunset coast”, The Houben is situated along the reputable Kantiang Bay, a six-minute drive from the secluded Niu Bay Beach, and a 15 minute drive from the Mu Ko Lanta National Park whose main attractions include caves and waterfalls, dive sites, and a white-sand beach.
Park Hyatt, Beijing
All rooms, ranging from standard to suite, have an in-room spa tub. With a heated floor, the earthy, limestone finished, marble bathroom is where we want to spend all our time. After utilising the Italian designer spa products in the bath, slip on your yukata or bathrobe, whichever speaks to you more, and proceed to relax on your 400-thread-count linen bed. After a long day, there’s nothing like a deep soak to help put you to sleep.
If you love the idea of having panoramic city views from your bathroom, stay in either a deluxe room or suite. Regardless of whether you have an amazing view of Beijing’s skyline or not, we hope that the fact you’re on the historical Chang’an Avenue means you’ll be out discovering the individual elements that make up the skyline.
Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa, Boracay
Boracay’s beaches are world-renowned. The resort is located on the island’s northernmost beach, Puka Shell Beach, which is much less crowded than the popular White Beach with the same white sand and paradisiacal feel. Jacuzzis can be found in all of the resort’s villas and suites. Park your tooshie in your beachside Jacuzzi and watch the sunset with your loved one.
The Tree House Villa is the only villa to have an open-air Jacuzzi on its second level balcony (pictured above) while the other ground level villas, ranging from oceanfront to beachfront, each has Jacuzzis that are a little more grounded plus private pools.
PER AQUUM Huvafen Fushi, Maldives
Everything about this Malé Atoll resort is excessive. From the hotel’s name, that’s a mouthful, to a view of the Indian Ocean, that’s an eyeful. If you promise not to get too comfortable with the lavish life, go ahead and treat yourself to this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Two accommodation types have private plunge pools: the Ocean Bungalow with Pool and the Two Bedroom Ocean Pavilion with Pool. The two bedroom is most suitable for couples wanting a private getaway while the bungalow is a great choice for best friends looking to max out on the beach life.
The Two Bedroom also has its own infinity pool and cocktail bar while both Jacuzzi-fitted rooms are serviced by butlers, have deck stairs that lead to the ocean, and are equipped with a state-of-the-art entertainment system so you can enjoy a cinematic experience with the starry night as your backdrop.
Fleur de Chine, Taiwan
Both regular rooms and suites have hot spring tubs with water that flows directly from the Sun Moon Lake’s drinkable, natural hot spring. When selecting your room, pick between mountain or lake views and from three styles – King Size Bed, Family Room, and Japanese Style. Zen out on your tatami bed in the Japanese style room.
Picture stepping out of the hot tub, skin still warm, onto the cool marble floors. The yin and yang extends to the hotel’s surroundings, comprising of mountains to the back and the Sun Moon Lake to the front. All rooms have balconies.
